Slow Streets Nomination Form
Slow Streets’ aim to improve neighborhood traffic safety and walkability by reducing vehicle speed limits and decreasing traffic density.
The Baltimore Department of Transportation (DOT) is expanding it’s Slow Streets’ program to calm traffic and increase walkability, especially during COVID-19. The DOT hopes that this public health intervention will empower residents to practice social distancing while walking or exercising outdoors.
In continuation with their expansion efforts, the Baltimore DOT needs your help in deciding the next street to enhance by reducing traffic and promoting social distancing!
